6 field mosaic of the North American (NGC7000)
and Pelican Nebula (IC5070) complex in Cygnus taken with a Takahashi
F60C and a SBIG ST-8XE combining the hydrogen alpha image above with red,
green and blue images taken with a CFW-8 filter wheel. This was
done as part of a project on Wide Field Imaging for HET 602 "Stars
and the Milky Way" at Swinburne Astronomy Online. This image
combines 168 images totaling 15 hours of hydrogen alpha light, 3 hours
of red, 3 hours of green and 3 hours of blue for a total of 24 hours of collected light. |
